Line opacity marks Niko's tenure: full color while he worked there (daytona.io Jul 2023 - May 2025, steel.dev Feb 2026 - Oct 2026), faded otherwise. The Oct 2026 marker sits at the month slot; the axis has no rank snapshot for it yet. Pre-index months excluded: daytona.io Jan-Jun 2023, steel.dev through Oct 2024. Monthly snapshots. Rank vs DR: DataForSEO rank and Ahrefs Domain Rating measure the same idea (backlink-based strength, 0-100) but on different link indexes with different formulas, so the numbers are not comparable across tools. Same week this data was pulled, Ahrefs showed steel.dev at DR 56 with ~2.0K linking websites while DataForSEO showed rank 38 with 486 referring domains; each scale is meaningful only against itself.
