Privacy First: FollowSaver keeps all your data local. Nothing is sent to external servers or third parties.
What Data We Collect
FollowSaver collects publicly available following and followers data from X/Twitter when you:
- Visit X/Twitter following or followers pages
- Scroll through the user lists on these pages
This data includes: usernames, display names, bio information, follower counts, profile images, and account creation dates - all information that is publicly visible on X/Twitter.
How Data Is Stored
All collected data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage API. This means:
- Data never leaves your computer
- No external servers are used
- No internet connection is required to view your data
- Only you have access to your collected data
How We Use Your Data
Collected data is used solely to provide backup and analysis functionality:
- Display follower/following statistics and ratios
- Calculate users who don't follow you back
- Enable CSV and JSON export for personal backup
- Show collection progress via browser badge notifications
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties. All data remains on your local device at all times.
Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Export: Download your data as CSV or JSON files anytime
- Delete: Use the "Clear Data" button to remove all collected data
- Uninstall: Removing the extension automatically deletes all stored data
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally using Chrome's secure storage API, your data is protected by your browser's built-in security measures. No network transmission means no risk of data breaches or interception.
No Tracking
FollowSaver does not use:
- Analytics or tracking services
- Cookies for user identification
- External advertising networks
- User behavior monitoring

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FollowSaver after changes means you accept the updated policy.
